Privacy
How Florence Trips handles personal data, cookies and analytics.
Summary
Florence Trips is a content site. We do not run user accounts on the public site, do not sell personal data, and do not use advertising trackers on the guides themselves unless analytics is explicitly enabled for the site.
What we collect
Server logs. Like most websites, the hosting stack may record standard request logs (IP address, user agent, path, time). These are used for security and troubleshooting, not for building marketing profiles.
Analytics. If a site-level analytics ID is configured, aggregate traffic statistics may be collected. No analytics identifier is required for the pages to work.
Admin access. The editorial admin area uses a session cookie for authenticated operators only. That cookie is not set for ordinary readers.
Cookies
Public guide pages do not depend on non-essential cookies. An admin session cookie is used only after an operator logs in to the private admin area.
Third parties
Pages may load fonts or assets from our own hosting. Climate and daylight figures shown in guides are compiled on our side from public scientific datasets; readers are not sent to those providers when viewing a page.
